A Little Background About Michael Hudgins, Founder

It all started (as a mere child) back in 1971 in Northern Illinois when the flying bug officially bit Mike in a very public place: Rockford, Illinois. During the following years, Mike was offered a job as a flight instructor at Belvidere, Illinois airport (now Poplar Grove Airport C-77). A few years of instructing led Mike to Wisconsin, where he landed a corporate flying job utilizing a Piper Cherokee 235! Yup! Then was moved into big iron, operating a Piper Turbo Lance.

During this time, Mike and his partner bought a small FBO in Portage, Wisconsin, where he established a flight school and maintenance shop and was named a Grumman American dealer at age 25. Years went by, and Mike became a Piper Aircraft dealer in Milwaukee and Rockford before moving into the turbine aircraft market. Mike also was a pilot for several companies in Wisconsin in addition to WGN Radio and TV in Chicago.

So far, Mike has acquired 14,000+ hours as a pilot and 45+ years of hands-on experience as a broker, buyer’s representative, and consultant.  Mike has years of experience with most types of turboprops and small to super mid jets and is personally responsible for the acquisition and brokerage of 240+ turbine aircraft.
